Tiffany & Co. Unveils New Creations Inspired By Jean Schlumberger’s Iconic Apollo Collection

Schlumberger’s solar rays have never been more golden, but the centre stone is the star.

A new star is born—or perhaps, a new constellation.

Tiffany & Co. has announced the launch of new pieces from the renowned Apollo collection, originally conceived by the legendary French jewellery designer Jean Schlumberger. Reinterpreting the classic Apollo clip from 1957, this latest offering introduces a sophisticated range of contemporary jewellery that pays homage to the collection’s enduring, ethereal legacy that has limned a narrative inspired by the cosmos.

Schlumberger’s Apollo by Tiffany collection stands as a testament to his artistry, merging expert craftsmanship with innovative design. Each piece draws inspiration from the sun’s eternal power, featuring a striking combination of platinum and 18-carat yellow gold, and the designs are characterised by sculptural rays that radiate from a central point, evoking the dynamic allure of solar flares erupting from the photosphere.

The Macallan’s Latest “Distil Your World” Release Is a Tribute to Hong Kong

Funny how the bottle doesn’t say 852, and yet all the characteristics and character of the vibrant city has been captured—nay, distilled and bottled.

Releases by The Macallan are always a matter of peak interest, and the latest drop in its celebrated Distil Your World series, focused on Hong Kong, exemplifies this developing pattern that’s intrigued us since we launched Robb Report Hong Kong in 2023.

The Macallan’s decision to encapsulate the essence of this vibrant city in whisky form stems from a desire to connect with its unique cultural tapestry and dynamic evolution, says Euan Kennedy, The Macallan’s lead whisky-maker, in an exclusive interview with Robb Report Hong Kong. He shares that the inspiration for Distil Your World Hong Kong is rooted in the city’s duality, where its rich traditions are juxtaposed with modern innovation.

Five months into 2025 and Chanel is giving us a glittering high-five.

Marie Lichtenberg’s New Line of Jewellery at Lane Crawford Highlights Accessories With a Global Accent, Sourced From the World

Neither trend nor fad can move this designer, but show her artisanal work and an endearing enamel and she’s yours.

From journalism to jewellery? Well, talk about a leap… of faith. When the profile of designer Marie Lichtenberg landed on our desk, with images of dazzling jewels of unexpected shape, size, and colour, and a plethora of gold instead of a diaspora of diamonds—well, colour us intrigued. A former editor of one of the most popular fashion magazines in Europe, she pivoted to accessories, unsheathing herself of her past role and creating a line of jewels as unique as she is. Now on display (and sale) in Lane Crawford’s jewellery department, you will find them lined up in glass-encased stands, beaming. It’s so… different.

In fact, it is hard to pinpoint where this jewellery comes from. Sure, the former French editor has a look and accent that is as Parisian as it gets—her maternal roots trace back to Martinique—but the inspiration, reference points, and seed of an idea came into fruition after global travels and worldly influence. When we finally meet in person in the Platinum Suite at Lane Crawford, where the designer is (gold-)chained to the desk with a flurry of appointments with VIP clients and the odd editor, she’s all charm and tinkling accessories. Her strong neck holds up at least half a dozen necklaces of gold and indiscriminate precious stones, enamel, and lacquer. But she holds that neck high, her arms bejewelled with bracelets and rings of gold. She’s the walking embodiment of her eponymous brand.
