Homa Caviar Makes Freshly Harvested, Authentic Iranian Caviar Directly Accessible

Discover the luxury of genuine Iranian caviar, delivered fresh from the Caspian Sea to your table within 48 hours. Well, while stocks last.

Since its inception in 2020, Homa Caviar has been rewriting the code for luxury dining experiences by making authentic Iranian caviar accessible to discerning palates. Nestled just outside of Tehran, Homa Caviar’s farm is dedicated to preserving the rich heritage of Iranian caviar, a delicacy that has long been revered for its unparalleled quality. With a commitment to delivering the freshest harvests directly to your door, Homa Caviar is transforming the way we enjoy this exquisite treat, and we have two young entrepreneurs to thank.

Homa Caviar’s story began with a simple desire: to ensure that familial bonds could be nurtured through shared culinary experiences. Founders Anthony Yuen and Bradley Yih, both 23, recall how the idea fermented early on. Yih’s grandmother cherished genuine Iranian Beluga caviar, a luxury that became increasingly difficult to find as the market was flooded with subpar alternatives. What started as a quest to preserve a treasured family tradition has blossomed into a venture that connects Iran’s finest caviar farms with the sophisticated tastes of modern diners. And it all begins with a memorable name.

Mumbai’s The Oberoi Comes to Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong For 3 Days Only For Indian National Day

Experience the flavours of India with executive chef Gurmeet Bhamra at Clipper Lounge and Café Causette.

It’s the question most often foisted upon us: Where’s the best Indian food in Hong Kong?

Well, the usual suspects make the cut: Michelin-starred Chaat and Leela in Causeway Bay are both worth your time and dime; someone adventurous will mention a dive at Chungking Mansions; and, of course, vegetarians go wild for Woodlands in Wan Chai and Gaylord in Tsim Sha Tsui, which recently celebrated 50 years in Hong Kong. Personally, I was mad about the original Veda, which tragically closed its doors in 2008, and its younger cousin, Veda Bar & Café, now opposite Dragon-I, still serves the best cheese dosa known to humanity. With options at every price range, style of cuisine (28 states and as many—if not more—styles of cooking), atmosphere, and service, there is no single answer…

Until now.

For three days, the answer is surprising: the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. In a remarkable celebration of India’s culinary heritage, the iconic hotel is set to host a unique gastronomic experience to mark Indian National Day. From 15 to 17 August, the popular Clipper Lounge and Café Causette will transform into a vibrant epicurean haven, showcasing the innovative and authentic cuisine of executive chef Gurmeet Singh Bhamra from The Oberoi, Mumbai, one of Asia’s truly great hotels, a collaboration that promises to delight the senses with a menu that fuses traditional Indian flavours with contemporary culinary techniques.

Dram Good Stuff delivers on its name’s inherent promise: rare whiskies of excellent sourcing, vintage, and taste, fuelled by Daswani.

Few things are more thrilling than discovering an open secret in the heart of Hong Kong. In an inconspicuous high-rise on Lyndhurst Terrace, only those in the know have made their pilgrimage through a labyrinth of stairs and corridors to discover treasures of untold fortune and global sourcing. Liquid amber and gold are painstakingly collected, curated, and coursed as the man behind the locked and lacquered doors entrances you with his bon mots on the glory-be bottles that he has in store: simply, the finest whisky in town, hence the name.

Kam Daswani, founder and managing partner of Dram Good Stuff, has carved a niche for himself in the whisky sector. With a passion for fine spirits—and an impressive collection of watches that he’s known for in equal measure—his journey is as captivating as the things he curates. In an era where health and wellness have transcended mere trends to become the most paramount of priorities, Don So, CEO of Humansa, stands at the forefront of this transformative, evolving movement. His latest endeavour seeks to revolutionise the way we approach health management, particularly in the vibrant metropolis of Hong Kong. Robb Report Hong Kong speaks with So to shed light on Humansa’s innovative approach, the philosophy underpinning its services, and the compelling reasons behind why the health industry is witnessing a significant shift.

So’s journey into health optimisation is rooted in a profound understanding of human needs, cultivated through years of experience in an altogether entirely different industry: wealth management. What he studied was human behaviour and patterns—a sociological study, as he articulates that “the traditional view of health as merely the absence of illness is not sufficient. We are entering an era where optimal health is not just desirable—it is essential.”

Releases by The Macallan are always a matter of peak interest, and the latest drop in its celebrated Distil Your World series, focused on Hong Kong, exemplifies this developing pattern that’s intrigued us since we launched Robb Report Hong Kong in 2023.

The Macallan’s decision to encapsulate the essence of this vibrant city in whisky form stems from a desire to connect with its unique cultural tapestry and dynamic evolution, says Euan Kennedy, The Macallan’s lead whisky-maker, in an exclusive interview with Robb Report Hong Kong. He shares that the inspiration for Distil Your World Hong Kong is rooted in the city’s duality, where its rich traditions are juxtaposed with modern innovation.

Top Fashion Photographers in Hong Kong: The best of the Best

These are the best fashion photographers who are in Hong Kong today - as far as I know!

Olivier and Dino.

Oh this is going to be tricky, but here are the creatives in alphabetical order, not in order of preference, talent or popularity!

We all have our favourites for whatever reason, preference of style. There is no good or bad, just different... From the minimalist to the maximalist, for the fresh perspective or the classics of the genre, these men and women will deliver.

My usual crew are sadly no longer in Hong Kong, but had they been here, would top the list; Ayesha Broacha, Douglas Pieterse, Anushka Menon, Sabrina Sikora, Laurent Segretier, Dino Busch, Olivier Yoan, Ike, Jeff Hahn, James Gabbard, Jonas Lille, Yana Vilkina... etc etc. There was a time I only did cover shoots with Olaf Mueller. Its funny how time changes everything...

The top photographers in the world currently are all women, many of the guys seem to have been cancelled (you know why!)... A few years ago, I heard an infuriating comment from a fella in position of power to saw 'we only give campaigns and covers to the guys.' Now I go out of my way to make sure I work with female photographers cause wow, the walls they have to climb and the mountains in the way...

Hong Kong Affirms Its Status as a Premier Luxury Destination

In conversation with Dr Pang Yiu-kai, chairman of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the big impact that Hong Kong makes on the global luxury market is discussed at length.

In an exclusive interview following the inaugural Leaders of Luxury Summit 2024, hosted by Robb Report Hong Kong on 27 November 2024 with support from the Hong Kong Tourism Board, Dr Pang Yiu-kai, chairman of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, shares his insights on the ever-evolving luxury landscape and Hong Kong’s pivotal role within it.

A formidable roster of delegates spoke on stage in a resoundingly positive and hopeful spirit as the conversations explored reshaping the future of luxury beyond Hong Kong. Its ripples reached far and wide as the words of the most significant players in industry, many of whom flew down especially for the event, resonated with the audience.

“When I first heard about the theme, ‘Redefining Luxury Through a Global Lens,’ I thought, ‘What better place to host such a forward-looking dialogue than Hong Kong?’” Dr Pang reflects on the overarching theme of the entire event. “Hong Kong is an ideal backdrop for such a discussion. As one of the fastest-growing luxury markets globally and the gateway to Mainland China, Hong Kong is strategically positioned to lead this conversation. With projections indicating that Mainland China will contribute 25 per cent of worldwide luxury sales by 2025, the timing of the Leaders of Luxury Summit is indeed opportune.”

Family lunch: Jimmy's Kitchen

The chicken kiev, the baked Alaska... forever yummmm!

Had a four-hour family lunch at Jimmy's Kitchen and we had to end it with a coffee and Sticky Toffee pudding with vanilla ice-cream.

True to form.
