GQ Singapore Launches in September 2026: The Gentleman's Quarterly indeed

Come September; @gqsingapore

A major milestone for men’s style is officially on the horizon.

GQ first hit newsstands in 1957- originally titled Gentlemen's Quarterly and conceived as a specialised trade publication for men's fashion buyers. Decades later, it has evolved into a global cultural powerhouse with an international footprint spanning over 20 countries.

Now, the arrival of GQ Singapore marks a defining chapter for regional media. While the narrative persists that print is circling the drain, the reality is shifting: the cream is rising to the top. Mass media may struggle, but thoughtful, niche publications aren't just surviving - they’re thriving. It is a painfully oversubscribed and saturated digital landscape, physical curation shall be crowned king, and hyper-focused editorial vision is proving that print isn't dying; it's refining.

Undici Magazine Launches in Hong Kong with 2026 World Cup Special

Thursday, 18 June 2026, HONG KONG – Last night, Club Carlyle at the Rosewood Hong Kong hosted a glittering launch event as Most Media Group unveiled Undici, its first English-language edition, marking the company’s official debut in Asia.

Undici, the Italian word for “eleven”, is a deliberate and elegant reference to the eleven players on a football team. The name perfectly captures the magazine’s deep connection to the beautiful game while evoking a sense of refined Italian style and excellence.

The evening celebrated the release of a landmark special issue dedicated to the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup. Published in English for the first time, this premiere edition immerses readers in the world’s biggest sporting event with an impressive lineup: an exclusive interview with FIFA President Gianni Infantino, a global journey exploring how football is lived across cultures, a behind-the-scenes visit to the factory crafting the iconic trophy, insights from legendary referee Pierluigi Collina, and reflections from former World Cup champions.

Beyond the stellar content, the issue introduces a complete visual refresh - new graphics, refined typography, and premium paper - signaling Undici’s bold evolution into a sophisticated sports-lifestyle luxury title. The publication masterfully blends sharp football analysis with fashion, in-depth interviews, profiles, and high-end insights, filling a notable gap in the market for discerning readers.

Key members of the media house attended the event, including CEO Alessandro de Felice, who personally introduced the team and the publication to friends, partners, the city’s glitterati, and an audience keenly observing the new glossy’s premiere edition.

Most Media’s move into Hong Kong represents its first footprint in Asia, strategically timed to tap into the city’s highly media-literate audience and substantial Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individual (UHNWI) community. The launch has been warmly received as a welcome addition to Hong Kong’s media landscape, offering a fresh, elevated voice that marries sporting passion with luxury living.

Attendees described the night as both elegant and electric, perfectly mirroring the magazine’s ambitions. As the countdown to the 2026 World Cup intensifies, Undici positions itself as the essential companion for those seeking more than just match scores - delivering context, culture, and class.

With this strong debut, Most Media has signaled serious intent in Asia, setting the stage for what could become a significant new player in regional premium publishing.

Sarah Pidgeon Shines in Custom Calvin Klein at 2026 Vanity Fair Oscars Party

Channeling ’90s Carolyn Bessette elegance amid Love Story’s runaway success

Sarah Pidgeon, the breakout star of FX's Love Story—the buzzy Ryan Murphy anthology series that reimagines the magnetic, tragic romance of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy—made her Vanity Fair Oscars Party debut a masterclass in perfectly timed method dressing.

Just as the show has reignited feverish 90s nostalgia, with its sleek minimalism, slip dresses, and that unmistakable Calvin Klein polish still echoing through today's runways, Pidgeon slipped into custom Calvin Klein Collection for the glittering after-party in Los Angeles.

The platinum crystal-and-sequin-encrusted floor-length gown, with its whisper-thin micro spaghetti straps (a signature CK detail), front overlap, and deconstructed neckline, felt like a modern evolution of the era's effortless elegance—think CBK's own archival moments, but dialed up for the spotlight. She finished the look with a brushed-silver CK One Clutch, a subtle nod to the fragrance that defined the decade's cool.

It's no coincidence this moment lands now: Calvin Klein is undeniably having its renaissance, channeling 90s restraint and sensuality amid a broader cultural craving for pared-back glamour.

And Love Story? Despite early critical barbs and pushback from Kennedy-circle purists—who decried everything from hair color to costume authenticity—the series (and Pidgeon's haunting, layered turn as Bessette) has captivated audiences, turning scrutiny into success. In a sea of over-the-top awards-season sparkle, Pidgeon's choice channels the quiet power that made 90s fashion iconic—and proves that sometimes, the most enduring statements are the ones whispered in satin and sequins.

Ralph Lauren Opens New Polo Store at Pacific Place in Hong Kong: February 2025

On 21 February 2025, Ralph Lauren unveiled its latest Polo Ralph Lauren store at Pacific Place in Admiralty, marking an elegant addition to the city’s luxury retail scene. Located on the first floor of the mall, the new boutique offers an immersive shopping experience that captures the brand’s signature American style - classic, spirited, splashes of colour and their timeless silhouette.

The store showcases comprehensive Men’s and Women’s Polo Ralph Lauren collections for the season. Stepping inside feels like entering the curated world of Ralph Lauren, with architectural details inspired by Ivy League campuses, collegiate sports, and the great outdoors. Distressed oak flooring, warm wood wall paneling, custom oak millwork, and antique-inspired display cases create a refined yet inviting atmosphere. Accents of aged brass and oil-rubbed bronze add sophistication, while an eclectic mix of artwork and decorative props brings the brand’s classic-yet-casual sensibility to life. Not as multi-tiered and large as the Central store used to be, but still impressive enough to collect the famed and the fashionable on opening night.

The Ralph Lauren cafe at Pacific Place

A highlight of the new space is the debut of Ralph’s Coffee, offering signature coffee drinks and featured pastries. The café features the brand’s iconic green and white pinstripe wallcovering and signature mosaic tile flooring, providing a perfect spot for shoppers to relax and enjoy a leisurely moment. The signature multi-layered chocolate cake is decidedly decadent - allegedly a favourite of Lauren himself.

To celebrate the opening, Ralph Lauren hosted a special event with prominent Hong Kong actresses: Michelle Wai (衛詩雅), Hedwig Tam (談善言), Louise Wong (王丹妮), and Sabrina Ng (吳冰). The stars showcased versatile looks from the Polo Women’s Spring collection, highlighting the range’s effortless style and adaptability.

This store opening forms part of Ralph Lauren’s “Next Great Chapter: Accelerate” strategy, which focuses on expanding its presence in key global cities across Asia. The brand aims to deliver elevated, consistent experiences that drive sustainable long-term growth.

Ralph Lauren’s footprint in Hong Kong is set, discover its heritage of classic all-American elegance in a beautifully designed setting.

How Now Brown Cow: Premium Beef in Hong Kong: Mayura Wagyu

Every few months, we get a newsbyte on premium beef, with the terms ‘artisanal’, ‘curated’, ‘exclusive’ thrown into the mix to try and wet our palate – none have worked as well as the invitation from The Steak House winebar + grill (at the InterContinental Hong Kong) to try the Mayura Wagyu from Australia, also known as Chocolate-Fed Wagyu.

Mayura Wagyu is acclaimed for its signature sweet, rich flavour, resulting from the unique chocolate diet 100% of the Wagyu cattle are fed in their final stage of maturation. Introduced to Hong Kong by Scott de Bruin, Mayura Station's managing director, under the magical hands of Executive Chef Maxime Luvara and Steak House Chef Chiu Ming Chan, their perennial quest for the ”best of the best” beef from artisanal (there's that word again!) farms around the world has resulted in aces. Such tender lovin’ steak we haven’t sampled in years as it was pure love at first bite.

From now until 30 April 2019, you can get a taste of this unique and exceptional Wagyu prepared expertly by Chef Chiu Ming Chan over the restaurant’s charcoal grill.
