Hong Kong swimmer and star Alex Fong with his brother William Fong: Behind the scenes of a beach shoot: Wardobe by Michael Kors

The Wong bros! Hong Kong swimmer and star Alex Fong with his brother William Fong

The brothers were so brilliant - while one was being photographed, I interviewed the other. The bond, the humour, the sense of duty and filial responsibility was touching.

Friends with Benefits: First Event: Opening Night of Suicide Squad at Director's Club in Hong Kong

One of the first events I did with the magazine; booked out Director's Club for the opening of Suicide Squad...

The then editor Christina Ko brainstormed the idea that Prestige should do mini, VIP events exclusive to the magazine and "Friends with Benefits" was born. Cheeky and chic-y.

Pretty much hated the film but loved this awesome squad that attended;  Angie Ng, Jonathan Cheung - JC! -  Antonia Li, Ruth Chao, Ana R, Natalie Chan, Anthony Sandstrom, Jocelyn Luko Sandstrom, Amanda Lui, Alexander Lui,

Summer of 2016

Thirst Post: On set with actor and model (and personal trainer) James Wong: Hong Kong Celeb

On set with James Wong for First Person feature/column.

The interview and shoot is on the magazine's official site.

Ralph Lauren and ladies of Hong Kong: Style Star: Angie Ting

Ralph Lauren and ladies of Hong Kong: Style Star: Angie Ting.

For a special edition of Prestige magazine, we collaborated with Ralph Lauren (well, their Hong Kong team!) and invited three of the most stylish and elegant ladies to pose in the store and discuss all things in fashion and style. Lovely Angie Ting was one of the few who remains effortlessly elegant.

Ralph Lauren and ladies of Hong Kong: Helen Ma: Style Star

When I first met Helen Ma - she was heading this beauty empire and was so intimidating and she was in the press allllllllllll the time. We have worked several times together - done a cover shoot and interview. In fact, done several shoots over the years. Just a gorgeous person inside and out.

Throwback to this shoot with Helen at Ralph Lauren. Good times. That kick-ass body - only she could slip into the dangerous curves, cut and silhouette of that killer red dress.

Dior Homme x Edwin Chuang x Unicef

Have interviewed and art directed a few shoots with Edwin Chuang. A true gent in Hong Kong.

He did this wonderful charity run and raised some serious cash for a worthy cause. He's also rescued and housed many dogs and saved many animals - just one of the kindest men. Ever.

TBT: Peter Cheung: Society feature and shoot at The Grand Hyatt

Peter Cheung by Dino Busch photography
Outtake from a shoot and interview I did with Peter Cheung at the fabulous Ambassador Suite at The Grand Hyatt in Hong Kong. The spectacular view, the shimmering accessories (Van Clef & Arpel), the festival of colours (Versace wardrobe) and the uncensored conversation, spiked with wicked laughter, there was much we talked about - that was mercifully not recorded on video. Lost in meandering chit-chat as he tried on the accessories, we completely forgot we were being taped for the video. When the dawn of realisation hit - I had to double-check with the videographer that none of what we spoke was on the record. Phew!

As an erstwhile Society Editor who has seen socialites of all shapes and sizes run in and out of favour and flavour, he knows far more than he'll ever let on.

For the final article in print we had two chats. One that was rather... PC... and we don't mean his initials. But so matter-of-fact that it read a bit like a press release. Then, we had another, over champagne by the pool at the Hyatt. Far more fun. The long walks down memory lane, the glamorous shoot and the video is online at the magazine's official site.

Peter was one of the first few people I interviewed for the Society column for the paper so long ago, Jesus was a boy back then.
