BTS: Behind the Scenes of a Fashion Shoot

Knew a few things from the start; Karen Yiu (and her team) for hair and makeup, Dino Busch as photographer and Bhisan for Styling and getting all the looks together. I've worked with Taner S since 2009 (Model One agency FYI) so we didn't even need to cast him. The entire team had worked with him at some point or another, Hong Kong's resident super model. 

Shot entirely on location at the fab Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong. We've tried to present some of the best facets of this hotel...

Working with Feiping is always a pleasure; she's on time, she's very good to the team, she's involved and creative, puts her own stamp in all her shoots - and she gives a shout out to the crew when they do a great job.

Working with Alex Aalto has always been so brilliant. Short clip from when we were doing casting and trials for a shoot... that got delayed - pandemic pause - and then further extended as all studios closed. 

Well, hopefully later in the year can pick up again...

We had 10 mins to pull this off as it was shot in a busy area - but it ended up being one of the best covers in the history of Galaxy magazine. Chaos + creatives = awesome sauce! =0) All credit to the awesome crew. Esp Masha Gu who rocked the cover.
