Prestige's latest Runway cover with Armani is... stunning!

Love, love, the latest cover of Runway. The team did a kick ass job. Again.

Feeling Sketchy: Tina Leung

My mother, artist Geetha Balakrishnan, can doodle in five minutes and come up with something fun. While waiting for a call, she did a pen sketch of my gorgeous friend Tina Leung. Why? Just cause.

Aaaaaand its a wrap...

After the longest, hottest day of the year, where we shot Fall/Winter 2018 in the streets, studio and stations [you'll see!] of balmy Hong Kong, this incredible crew did the most amazing cover shoot for Runway, by Prestige Hong Kong.

That's relief and exhaustion and joy of a job well done. Photographer Dino Busch, stylist Bhisan Rai, model Yana Vilkina....  joyful to work with.

Back in 2008, after a particularly horrific shoot working with one of the b****iest stylist known to mankind, had a self-imposed rule of only working with fun, kind, generous and talented people.

This lot are not only gifted, but the loveliest to work with.

Until next time/shoot/on set lols...

On set. With Lenka Korbova. Leo Mendez. And this awesome crew - esp one of my favs Megumi Sakine, who is one of the best make-up artists in the world. Lenka (now Lenka Oshry!) and I've worked together on projects for years of course....

Argentinian model Leo Mendez jumped in for part of a shot - deeply grateful for him helping out.

Waiting on Set... with Dino Busch

Since I started working with Dino Busch, who is very Type A meticulous (and German), he lands early on set, is prepared and ready to kick off on time, every time. However, 90% of the people we have shot (when its not fashion) have been late on set. I think our record thumb-twiddling once was four hours as the person we were doing a feature on missed a boat or flight or something....

So while we wait, the crew gets up to their own little antics and posing. Not for the faint of heart his biz...
