The right photographer, model, hair and makeup team, stylist, location and... will power. An entire catalogue shoot done on time - and more imporantly in budget.

A jewellery and accessories shoot from... 2017/2018

Personally thought all the images came out great but by then editor didn't and refused to expense or sign off on it. Instead of a kill fee of 15-25%, I paid the entire team out of pocket. 

Lessons learned. Trust your own taste and conviction. That editor didn't last that long. Poor judgement and choices tarnished her rep.

David Oshry and his missus Lenka Korbova. I've begged her to hyphenate her name to Lenka Oshry-Korbova so I can call her Mrs OK.

Cause these tiny things amuse me enddddddddddddlessly.

On set. With Lenka Korbova. Leo Mendez. And this awesome crew - esp one of my favs Megumi Sakine, who is one of the best make-up artists in the world. Lenka (now Lenka Oshry!) and I've worked together on projects for years of course....

Argentinian model Leo Mendez jumped in for part of a shot - deeply grateful for him helping out. 

Hollywood Hair

As I work behind the scenes of innumerable shoots for magazines and newspapers, work with models a lot (a lot!), from those not in the biz, I get asked about the strangest things. Most not worth answering, but this one is.

Where do the models get their hair/nails done?
I send 'em all pre-shoot to Hollywood Hair - if the need be. In particular to Rennie Fensham, the always interestingly coiffed, chatty bird from South Africa (love her accent!) and her gorgeous daughter Yentl. Two mods in particular went there and got transformed are the above two hotties; Nabil and Lenka. The cut, the color, all gorge!

Outtakes: A feature shoot with Lumen Kinoshita and model Lenka Oshry for a Jewellery Feature

For a shoot for Lifestyle magazine, my fav model in the Kong, the gorgeous Lenka (Dream models HK agency). These are outtakes from the shoot, shot by my cam (the pro shots taken by photographer Rose Conway are way better!).  Done one very cold afternoon at IFC, the saucy Ms Korbova killed it!
