Ferretti Group Sets Sail With 6 Premieres at Cannes Yachting Festival

 

Sailing season kicked off with 21 boats showcased, including six premieres.

Early in September, Ferretti Group hosted its ninth private preview event at the Yacht Club de Monaco, where exclusive guests got to set eyes on—and some even trial on sea—37 boats, including seven premieres. On the following day, the Cannes Yachting Festival kicked off in style and with impressive sails as Ferretti Group took to the waters with 21 incredible boats and six grand premieres for the Custom Line, Riva, Wally, Pershing, and Ferretti Yachts brands.

Over the course of six days, the event provided the yachting group with ample opportunity to make waves, starting with the debut of the standout Custom Line Navetta 38, Pershing GTX80, Ferretti Yachts Infynito 80, the new Ferretti Yachts 670, Riva’s first full-electric powerboat, and the international yachting debut of Wally’s Wallywhy100 and Wallypower50.

China’s Fine Wines Continue to Rise. Here Are the Best Ones to Try Right Now.

 

When it comes to the Asian fine wine industry, fame becomes her.

A few months ago, a white-glove gala affair attended by connoisseurs and critics saw some of the best wines in the world feted and awarded lofty titles. Among them, the best red, white, Chardonnay, Vidal, and so on were named in a grand total of 23 categories. Upholding international competition standards, adjudicated by a panel of 27 local and international critics, the deliberation was followed by a highly anticipated awards ceremony.

On the night, the highest honour was awarded to the Fei Tswei Marselan Reserve 2021. In fact, all the winners were Chinese, as Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace hosted the first-ever Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards in April of this year. Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra’s 51st Season Springs to Life with Virtuosos

Come 2025, one of the youngest conductors in the world will officially take his place as the music director designate of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil) at just 25 years old. To open the orchestra’s 51st season, Tarmo Peltokoski and young violin virtuoso Daniel Lozakovich, 23, will headline two performances at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall on 5 and 6 September.
