Cartier Reveals the Next Chapter of Its Nature Sauvage High-Jewellery Collection

It’s not déjà vu, but a look anew as Cartier brings savage returns.

Cartier’s latest release, the third chapter from the Nature Sauvage collection, draws deeply from the wellspring of nature, intertwining artistry and craftsmanship in a manner that transcends mere adornment. At the heart of the high-jewellery collection lies an exploration of the animal kingdom, where creatures both real and imagined come to life in breathtaking designs as glittering kings of the jungle in perpetual repose.

A Rare Collection of First-Vintage Wines from Bhutan is Heading to Auction

Calling all oenophiles—this one’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

In an extraordinary development for wine enthusiasts and collectors, Bonhams is set to auction the first-ever vintage of wine cultivated and produced in Bhutan. Set to take place from 3 to 24 April, this landmark event will feature a limited offering of just 48 bottles from the Bhutan Wine Company, making it a momentous occasion in the annals of viticulture.

Bonhams’ historic auction will showcase 48 bottles of Ser Kem—translating to “an offering of alcohol to the gods”—the inaugural bottling from the Bhutan Wine Company. Founded with the goal of introducing the world to Bhutan’s rich terroir, characterised by its pristine environment and high altitude, the unique venture’s first-ever harvest of wine grapes in Bhutan occurred in 2023, resulting in the creation of the Ser Kem bottlings, a special blend that encapsulates the essence of the region’s diverse grape varieties.

Art Central and Art Basel Hong Kong 2025

One of the great joys of Art Central, Art Basel (both occurring simultaneously and next door to each other--my poor, weary, tired, so very tired feet), is of course seeing some great art and meeting the artists, gallerists, art critics, editors, models, muses. Eg someone like Diane who is... I guess a bit of everything.

Art Basel or Art Central? This year, I've got to say Art Central has the edge. 2025 Art Basel in Hong Kong was oversubscribed and chaotic--despite the innumerable, defo-interns and somewhat uniformed staff trying to appease the crowds of mostly self-proclaimed VIPs on opening day. The VIP preview was a classic case of, well, everyone's important. Ipso facto, no one is. And were treated as such. God bless the team as they kept their cool, while some notable names... um... didn't.

Art Central's curated and diverse exhibits were more... what's the word.... fun? The art world takes itself so seriously... Everytime I see something pretentious and when a piece has to be over explained, my mind immediately goes to Ab Fab

Eddie: "It all looks like crap, it must be worth something..."

And when in doubt;

Art Central 2025 Curator Enoch Cheng on Creating Connections and the Evolution of the Hong Kong Annual Art Fair

Curator Enoch Cheng shapes a journey through art as a path to recovery.

In the vibrant tapestry of Hong Kong’s art scene, few figures are as pivotal as Enoch Cheng, the curator behind the gallery programmes of Art Central 2025. With the upcoming edition of this popular fair, Cheng reflects on the transformative power of art, particularly in the context of recovery and renewal following the global challenges of recent years.

As he embarks on his second consecutive year curating the event, Cheng’s vision has evolved, embracing a deeper commitment to inclusivity and innovation. His initial foray into Art Central was informed by a desire to foster connection amidst the post-pandemic landscape. “Last year, my goal was to engage with audiences in the context of post-Covid recovery,” he says. “I wanted to encourage curiosity, and we succeeded in creating an event that many people could enjoy together.” For the 2025 edition of Art Central, he is taking his vision further, focusing on programming that supports emerging galleries, showcases legendary artists, and highlights photography as a significant medium.

M Residences Unveils Its Fifth Development in Katipunan

VCDC continues to redefine metropolitan living by providing strategically located, thoughtfully designed homes that cater to each buyer’s unique preferences.

A convenient city location in a secure and private community has always been a hallmark of luxury living. Everyone dreams of a private enclave tucked away from the rush of the city, yet with all the access to everyday conveniences—an exclusive neighbourhood where comfort meets contemporary design, and a home with liveable spaces that reflect your needs and style. But this luxury can come at a cost—a hefty one.

M Residences, the estate development by Victor Consunji Development Corporation (VCDC), defies this notion by providing attractively priced landed homes that unlock a wealth of possibilities that can boost one’s life and style.

Saint Bella Founder Danny Xiang on the Evolution of Luxury Postnatal Care

Postnatal care has never looked this glamorous, but what Saint Bella is delivering is peace of mind.

In the ever-evolving landscape of luxury services, few sectors have been as transformative as postnatal and maternal care. At the forefront of this revolution is Saint Bella, a pioneering brand group dedicated to providing high-net-worth individuals (HNWI) with a unique and luxurious experience during one of life’s most significant transitions: the arrival of a new child.

The driving force behind this revolution is Danny Xiang, the company’s founder and CEO, whose blend of elite academic credentials and entrepreneurial grit reads like a modern legend. A quintessential “golden child” by any measure, Xiang’s trajectory has been extraordinary.

At 18, Xiang received admission offers from seven world-class institutions, ultimately choosing Oxford, where he fast-tracked and completed a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering by 23. From there, he launched a successful career in finance with UBS, and was swiftly promoted to director of UBS Asia’s Healthcare Investment Banking division. It was during this period that he identified untapped potential in the wellness consumer market. Never one to shy from bold decisions, the tenacious visionary walked away from the security of a lucrative banking career in 2017 to pioneer China’s postpartum care centre industry—a niche he would redefine through entrepreneurship.

In a mere seven years, Xiang has steered Saint Bella to become Asia’s largest and fastest growing postpartum care and recovery group, expanding its footprint to nearly 80 high-end locations across more than 25 cities worldwide. Leveraging its unique asset-light business model, the company has achieved rapid year-on-year growth. Based on revenue growth rates from 2021 to 2023, Saint Bella is also the fastest-growing large-scale postpartum care and family wellness group in China.

A jewellery and accessories shoot from... 2017/2018

Personally thought all the images came out great but by then editor didn't and refused to expense or sign off on it. Instead of a kill fee of 15-25%, I paid the entire team out of pocket.

Lessons learned. Trust your own taste and conviction. That editor didn't last that long. Poor judgement and choices tarnished her rep.

The images did.

BTS: Behind the Scenes of a Fashion Shoot

Knew a few things from the start; Karen Yiu (and her team) for hair and makeup, Dino Busch as photographer and Bhisan for Styling and getting all the looks together. I've worked with Taner S since 2009 (Model One agency FYI) so we didn't even need to cast him. The entire team had worked with him at some point or another, Hong Kong's resident super model.

Shot entirely on location at the fab Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong. We've tried to present some of the best facets of this hotel...
